Thriving on challenges and the desire to make an impact, Claire comes to Chematek with 20 years experience in strategic business development, risk management and strategic planning. A Cambridge University graduate with a degree in engineering, she has honed her analytical, organisational and team-building skills working with some of the world’s biggest names in international banking and finance.

Cameron Laird

National Sales Manager

A business professional who has worked for some of Australia’s best-known brands, Cameron prides himself on building strong relationships with our customers and distributors, helping drive their growth and profitability. Cameron has a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management and an Advanced Diploma in Management.

Enrique Schettino

National Project Manager (Australia)

Keeping a keen eye on the detail, Enrique is the sales and operational ‘bridge’ between Chematek in Australia and Eni HQ in Italy. An accomplished project  manager with experience in lubricants, renewable energies and waste water treatment, Enrique provides technical and logistics support that transcends  distance.

Supply Chain and Quality Coordinator

Sonia is a qualified chemical engineer with a diverse background that started with a career in food and FMCG, including edible oils and fats. Along with highly developed analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills, Sonia has experience in all phases of the project management lifecycle, along with plant design, process optimisation, and environmental, safety and quality compliance.

Marketing Manager

A seasoned marketing professional with a background in fast-moving consumer goods, Paul is instrumental in establishing the Eni brand in Australia under the Chematek umbrella. Well-known as a creative thinker with an eye for detail, Paul has worked across a variety of businesses and commercial roles, and led numerous local, national and international marketing campaigns over the years.

Hailing from an accomplished accounting background, Michael brings to the Chematek team 20 years experience in business and financial management, supply chain, logistics, inventory management, importing, and purchasing. Through his exceptional process analysis skills, Michael prides himself on providing customers with solutions that meet their requirements and exceed their expectations.

Giovanni Ponti

Head of Technical Support for Lubricants at Chematek SpA

With over 40 years of experience in the field of lubricants, Giovanni heads the technical support for lubricants at Chematek SpA, supporting; sales units both nationally and internationally, the developing of new formulas, obtaining approvals, and references from industrial OEMs.

Ross Ismail

Global Finance Manager

A Certified Practicing Accountant and Green Belt Six Sigma certified, Ross has more than 20 years experience in the construction, power generation and oil and gas sectors. He has led multiple transformation projects and brings significant commercial, operational and financial experience to his role. Prior to joining Chematek, Ross was CFO for General Electric Oil & Gas ANZ.

Technical Sales (VIC, SA & TAS)

An industry professional with a degree in economics and commerce, Damian prides himself on providing evidence-based solutions to meet customer needs. Having worked for two of the biggest names in the oil industry, he brings a high level of technical know-how to his role, along with the business insights that help build strong customer partnerships.
