Chematek Supply Chain Operating As Normal

By March 16, 2020 Latest news

We would like to take the opportunity to reassure our customers that the COVID 19 Virus does not effect the Chematek supply chain of ENI Oils and Lubricants in Australia.

It has been widely advertised that Italy has gone into a lockdown to limit the spread of the virus. It is important to note that this lockdown DOES allow for the production of goods such as Eni Oils and Lubricants; on ground haulage (transport to ports) and import / export works (shipping of product). Shipment of ENI products to ports and onwards to destinations across the world continues as usual. For further information please refer here.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has commended Italy for its response to the virus and the measures currently in place. Indeed, WHO is forecasting that due to these measures, Italy will emerge from this situation in a much stronger position than other countries that have not implemented anything to contain the virus. For further information please refer here.

In addition to our uninterrupted supply chain, customers are reminded that we deliberately hold high levels of stock for commonly used products in Australia, so we can satisfy demand without waiting for orders to be shipped from Italy.

You can be entirely confident in our ability to supply you with world class, premium oils and lubricants.

For those customers seeking to minimize travel and meetings, please take advantage of our telephone and video meeting services to speak directly to our sales and technical support personnel.

Should you have any concerns or questions please don’t hesitate to contact myself or one of the Chematek team. We look forward to working with you and supporting you during this time.

So far, Eni have committed $55m to fighting Coronavirus:
